To die and live in the path of Truth

Die! And be detached to the worldly things
For we shall not put them in our heart
But in our hands, should we place them
And find the presence of Him within

Die! And be oblivious of the outer surrounding
For Great is our praise for His presence
Overpowering yet The Most Subtle that we need to be captured by
And know that our prayer has ascended

Die! And sleep away to the world beyond
For sleeping is as close as we can be to death
To rest in our state of mind and soul
But in our nightmare, how shall we find peace?

Live! And be reborn like a phoenix
For worldly things are but ashes
In comparison to the ever-living soul
Knowing that but only few live it

Live! And be in the present
For being in His court require our presence
So much to learn, ponder and glorify
Leave no room for anything alike

Live! And forever be in His company
For it was from Him had we come to existence
It is to Him shall we return
And in knowing Him, how shall we ever be?
