Qariib

Qariib isn't
about physical proximity
It is in the feeling

For how many
Are in their proximity
But their hearts
Are separately unrelated

It is by that reason
Allah said
Fa Inni qariib

To others,
We may be
So far away

Ocean and lands
May come between us
People and events
May give us distraction

But you are here
Safely kept
As a qariib
In this dance of life
